Transformative Biotech (T-Bio) has been granted residency in the Primer Lab startup incubator at HudsonAlpha Institute for Biotechnology in Huntsville, Alabama. The Primer Lab gives T-Bio access to molecular and general lab equipment in a capital-efficient way, helping the company advance its patented DirectAmp™ direct-to-PCR technologies and generate data to support lab and commercial partnerships.
Establishing R&D operations at HudsonAlpha complements T-Bio’s Boulder headquarters and extends lab resources for EVP of R&D Dr. Mark Kelleher, who is based in Huntsville. The HudsonAlpha community also offers scientific expertise and collaboration opportunities as T-Bio explores new applications for its technologies.
Funded through Innovate Alabama, the Primer Lab offers shared lab and office space in the Paul Propst Center, along with mentorship and support with grants and investor connections.
